The only solution for the Middle East.

Three federal states in the Middle East

Father Spyridon Tanous, a specialist in Middle Eastern anthropology and editor-in-chief of X-Minority News, wrote that the only solution for the Middle East lies in the creation of three federal states.

Father Tannous explained that:

Protecting all communities in the Middle East — including Sunnis, Christians, Alawites, Kurds, Druze, and even Jews in Israel — cannot be achieved without changing the systems of government in Syria, Lebanon, and Israel. In Israel, the solution for Palestinians, Israelis, Christians, and Druze alike is to transform Israel into a federal state comprising a Palestinian federation in the West Bank and a Druze federation in northern Israel.

The central government in Jerusalem, the capital, would then be responsible for defense, security, and economic management, while administrative powers would be granted to the federations. Christians would retain full autonomy in managing the holy sites and would enjoy full citizenship rights.

In Syria, the country must become a federal state that includes: Federation east of the Euphrates, guaranteeing the rights of Kurds, Syriac Assyrians, and the Arab population of the region.
In the Syrian coastal region and the mountains west of Hama and Homs, a Western Syrian Federation should be established.

In the south, a Southern Syrian Federation should be created to guarantee the rights of Druze, Christians, and Sunnis.

Consequently, the central government in Damascus, the capital, would be responsible for defense in coordination with the federations.
Internal security would be handled by separate apparatuses in each federation, coordinated through the Ministry of the Interior.
Economic management would be shared to ensure the fair distribution of national income.

In Lebanon, Christians should agree on a unified approach and reach an agreement with Sunnis to establish a Northern and Mountain Federation.
In southern Lebanon, Shiites and Christians would together form a Southern Federation.
Beirut and its suburbs would remain the political capital of Lebanon and would adopt the same federal structure as Israel.

This federal model is the solution that will preserve lives and put an end to wars.
