Syrian Al-Sharaa government is blackmailing European governments for accepting the return of refugees to Syria.
The X Minority investigation team obtained information through contact with several official and parliamentary bodies in Europe. This information indicates that the policy of deporting Syrian refugees to Syria will not be free. Rather through secret deals that are not linked to the budgets of European countries.
The investigation team learned that the Al-Sharaa’s administration refused to accept the deals in its current form. They demanding increased sums of money before agreeing to get Syrians in Syria.
It is worth noting that the Al-Sharaa government has no intention of reconstruction at now, but is instead attempting to blackmail countries and organizations, including churches, into paying money to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.
European governments are engaging in widespread corruption concerning the refugee issue.
Some European governments are attempting to push through off-budget deals. These deals involve paying sums of money to governments, as recently happened in Sweden, which funded three positions in the Somali government with salaries exceeding 100,000 kroner per month. It is reported that relatives of the Somali prime minister’s inner circle received these positions.
X Minority has learned that al-Shaibani’s meeting with the Swedish foreign minister and the Swedish chargรฉ d’affaires in Damascus was dedicated to negotiating the amount of money al-Shar’a is demanding in exchange for accepting Syrian refugees.
There is talk of hundreds of millions of euros that Ahmed Al-Sharaa is trying to obtain through extortion.
