The X Minority’s investigative team have verified the publications that distributed on the night of Saturday, July 5, 2025, in the Christian areas of the city of Safita, which is located 30 km from the coastal city of Tartus. The city is inhabited by Christians and Alawites. Ansar al-Sham had claimed responsibility for the bombing of the Damascus church, which led to the martyrdom of dozens of Christians.
