The president declared that the tariffs are generating so much money that โeveryone will receive a payout of at least $2,000 per person (except for the very high earners!).
โBudget experts ridiculed the idea, which recalled the Trump administrationโs short-lived plan to hand out DOGE dividend checks funded by federal budget cuts championed by billionaire Elon Musk.
