It is incomprehensible how Western governments can support al-Qaeda’s authority in Damascus, which recruits children. Moreover, and right under everyone’s noses, Syria is rapidly becoming a hub for exporting jihadists..

This is not the first time that cases of child recruitment have surfaced in Syrian mosques, where children are dressed in military uniforms with headbands bearing jihadist slogans used by Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Two days ago, a paramilitary display took place inside the al-Qadam Mosque in Damascus. The mosque posted on its page regarding the event:

-And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy.}

-We ask Allah to make them a generation of empowerment, to liberate Jerusalem through them, and to restore through them the dignity, strength, and glory of the nation.

-These young heroes, praise be to Allah, are the offspring of the Great Mosque of Al-Qadam.

-We ask Allah to protect them with His protection.
