Armed Islamist factions in Hama have declared mobilization against the Druze of Sweida, southern Syria, similar to events on the Syrian coast last March.
This follows a brutal, ongoing attack by factions affiliated with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham on the Druze of Sweida, which has so far resulted in over 20 deaths and 100 injuries.
Questions that should be directed to President #Trump and the #European Union:
- Did they truly give the green light to Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and its affiliated factions, which carry Al-Qaedaโs ideology, to target and eliminate minorities?
- Why is it acceptable for Islamist factions to possess illegal weapons while minorities are prevented from doing so?
