We began in Sweden as a journalistic mission under OPC, legally registered in 2012.
In 2022, X M NEWS (X Minority News and Investigative Agency) was founded by the Chief of Editor Fr. S Tanous as News agency with a unique mission, providing an independent investigations and specific news wire.

With over 15 years in the media industry, we’ve built a vast database that has helped us develop our agency’s services. In 2024, we began upgrading the technologies used in our press release and news agency services. Our Journalistic Rights
We exercise our right to access information, grounded in the legal principle of one of Swedish fundamental laws, and the Freedom of the Press Act. And The European Media Freedom Act (EMFA) to protect media freedom and editorial independence, ensuring the free flow of information and preventing obstacles to media service providers operating across the EU.

Privacy and security of sources
We practice the privacy and security of our sources according to the Article 4 of EMF. This article specifically focuses on the protection of journalistic sources by:
Prohibiting state authorities from compelling media service providers to disclose sources .
Banning the use of spyware on journalists’ devices .
Limiting surveillance of journalists to exceptional cases involving serious crimes, with prior court approval .
