Israeli Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, a member of the Chief Rabbinate Council, attacks Trump:
“Let’s remind Trump that Israel has survived for 2,000 years without him, and in much more difficult and worse circumstances. In 1948, the United States did not support Israel, did not send a single bullet, and we triumphed over all the Arab states.
Your help is sometimes like a bee; we don’t want your honey or your sting. Be a little humble; you are not the king of the world. I heard that Trump said, ‘Israel wouldn’t have lasted two hours without him.’ That’s just interesting.”
