Forbes magazine featured a photo on its cover showing the Syrian president with the Minister of Religious Endowments, accompanied by the headline “The Syrian Ministry of Religious Endowments: The Richest Government Organization on the Planet.”
The magazine stated that the Ministry of Religious Endowments owns billions of dollars’ worth of real estate and possesses most of Syria’s archaeological sites, which it can freely manage, providing it with assets worth hundreds of billions of dollars.
This makes it the richest government organization on the planet, surpassing the US Federal Reserve and most other government institutions.
It’s well known that HTS targets Syrian funds and seizes the state assets, and then impose its extremist Salafist-jihadist agenda.
It is not surprising that Tom Barrack, and MI6 -who reside in the Presidential Palace in Damascus – are so fierce in protecting this terrorist organization, as the price he receives is very high.
It is also not surprising that the Fatwa Department of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham is seeking to bring the Ottoman documents that help them to own 75% of Syriaโs real estate.
It should be noted that Christians are the biggest losers in this conspiracy, as a third of Syria’s real estate is Christian-owned, distributed between church properties and Christian properties.
