The Swedish Foreign Minister stated: “I wish Putin were behind bars now.”
Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Steinergรฅrd confirmed that Sweden seeks to play a leading role in the upcoming international tribunal that will try Russian political officials and military leaders for committing the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
The minister added to the Expressen newspaper that the Swedish parliament recently unanimously approved the proposals that allow Sweden to ratify the necessary documents and join the tribunal fully.
