Who interferes with X’s publications?

X (and Elon Musk) have repeatedly stated that the platform does not use traditional shadowbans. Instead, it applies โvisibility filteringโ based on its own ranking signals, spam detection, and abuse reports. The algorithm decides distribution โ not external users directly.
But another question arises: Are Elon Musk’s statements about X’s posts true? Don’t, for example, the CIA or MI6 interfere with published posts and X algorithms?
If we go back to the COVID-19 pandemic, Twitter blocked and banned any criticism of the vaccine and any criticism or denial of the pandemic, as did Facebook and others. This means that interference with publishing algorithms is possible.
The same thing happened in the Ukraine war and in many similar cases. For example the European Union imposed restrictions on any criticism of Ukraine, and there are many instances where intelligence agencies interfere with algorithms to limit the impact of posts on the policies of certain countries.
In many cases, with some focus, we can clearly discern the intervention of intelligence agencies of major powers in algorithms to limit the impact of publications on specific policies, such as policies that support regimes that have practiced ethnic cleansing and organized crime, for example.
Clearly, intelligence agencies are capable of controlling platform algorithms like X to promote specific agendas, as recently occurred with the publication of information about alleged UFO and extraterrestrial beings.
