The Savannah Bananas will return to Pittsburgh in 2027 to play two games against the Indianapolis Clowns.
The games are scheduled for Aug. 6 and 7, 2027, at PNC Park.
The announcement follows two sold-out games the team played in Pittsburgh in August 2025. VisitPITTSBURGH expects the upcoming games to draw thousands of regional fans to the city.
Jim Britt, vice president of sports events for VisitPITTSBURGH, emphasized the impact of the event on the area.
“We are excited to host another round of Banana Ball in Pittsburgh,” Britt said. “Their return underscores the continued evolution of our city’s reputation as a premier sports destination. Major sports events like this do more than entertain—they drive significant economic impact and demonstrate our ability to host innovative, large-scale sports properties. We’re happy to welcome Banana Nation back and continue building on our world-class sports legacy.”
Ticket access for the games will be managed through an online entry process. Fans can enter the ticket lottery until 11:59 p.m. ET on Oct. 31.
A random drawing will take place in February to determine which entrants may purchase available tickets for the games. Selected entrants will receive purchase instructions directly.
